Superintendent Licensure

The Iowa State University Superintendent Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Program will give you the best preparation as a future superintendent, AEA chief administrator, or central office personnel member dedicated to increasing achievement for every learner. A unique sequence of learning opportunities is driven by practical clinical experiences in the field and supported by classroom instruction in a spiral curriculum that builds over 23 months' time by exploring "dilemmas of practice" that future school leaders will encounter.
