Learning Goals

  • Increase competence and understanding in entomological literature.
  • Strengthen critical thinking skills required for entomological research.
  • Develop skills and learn analytical techniques to conduct, analyze, and interpret hypothesis-driven entomological research questions
  • Enhance oral and written communication skills and learn to communicate entomology-related material to broader audiences via writing and presentations.
  • Recognize awareness of the societal (ethical, socio-economic, and regulatory) responsibilities of entomologists.
