Retaining a Diverse Graduate Student Body

Helping graduate students remain enrolled and on track to complete their graduate degrees at Iowa State University is a shared responsibility. Graduate students may feel isolated and disengaged from campus life. These feelings of isolation and disengagement are often exacerbated for graduate students of color at a predominantly white institution such as ISU. It is important we communicate all the inclusiveness efforts in and around campus across the Ames community.
