The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has designed the online power systems engineering graduate certificate program. As an engineer in the power industry, you have a great opportunity to obtain a graduate credential in this area of specialization.

The power systems graduate courses are designed to provide you with valuable in-depth education in advanced topics in electric power engineering. In turn, you will be able to provide operational knowledge to government, private, and/or academic sectors. Upon completion of the certificate program of study, you will be proficient in theory, modeling, and tools. As a result, you will be able provide expertise to the development of public policy, as well as perform power system engineering tasks related to planning and operating electric power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
