The Master of Applied Statistics (MAS) degree program will help address the growing need for statistical training in today’s data-rich world. Statistician is projected to be one of the fastest growing jobs in the next decade, and we look forward to helping many people gain the skills they need to launch rewarding careers in statistics or to expand their impact within their current professional roles. Our MAS courses give our students the tools they need to learn from data and to have a positive impact in a wide range of businesses and industries. Students will learn to design data collection and analysis processes, to use modern statistical computing technologies, and to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance insights from data.

Application Requirements
Application Deadlines:
Fall term - June 15, Spring term - Nov 15, Summer term - March 15.
International students should apply at least three months before the start of term they are applying.

Admission Requirements
Graduate College Requirements:
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Academic Records/Transcripts
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (Program may alter requirement.)
- Proof of English Proficiency.
Program Specific Requirements:
- Exposure to statistics comparable to an introductory statistics course
- Calculus I and II (differentiation, integration, sequences, series)
- Knowledge of matrix algebra
- Bachelor’s degree with a grade point average at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Program Requires GRE: No
- Program Requires GMAT: No
- Program Will Review Without TOEFL or IELTS: No
