McNair Program prepares 36 Scholars for graduate studies

The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program is serving 36 Scholars this year. Twenty-three are members of the 2020 cohort. 

McNair is one of the eight federally funded TRIO programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. McNair prepares qualified undergraduate juniors and seniors for entry to graduate school and the attainment of the doctoral degree. We achieve our program objectives through three focus areas: research preparation, graduate application planning, and personal and professional development.
