Program Eligibility Requirements
- Must have a strong interest in pursuing a Ph.D. degree and becoming a faculty member
- Must be a US citizen or permanent US resident
- Must be a first-generation college student who meets specified Department of Education low-income guidelines and/or a member of a group underrepresented in American higher education: African American, Native American, or Latino
- Must be an undergraduate classified as a sophomore or junior
- Must have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.80
