The Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS) represents the graduate and professional students' perspective on campus issues and serves as a liaison between graduate/professional students and the university administration. Each department is permitted to have at least one GPSS representative. Take a look here and see if your department is being represented.
The GPSS is also responsible for Professional Advancement Grants (PAG). PAGs support travel to conferences or professional meetings and for research outside of a person's degree program.
Office Hours are held in the GPSS Office in the West Student Office Space of the Memorial Union

As of August 20th, the following Departments have not elected Senators for the upcoming April 2008-March 2009 session. If you are a current Senator, planning on serving another term- get your forms in! If you are graduating, encourage others in your department to get involved in GPSS.
