Fall semester, 2011 - November 14, 2011
Spring semester, 2012 - April 16, 2012
Please email material to gpsspag@iastate.edu or return it to the GPSS office in the West Student Office Space. Please turn in all the materials (including letters of recomendation) together (in a single folder or zip-file).

The Award
The recipient is awarded a prize of $200.00 and a certificate.

Eligibility Requirements - Research
- The application deadline for Fall 2011 semester is November 14, 2011 and Spring 2012 semester is April 16, 2012. Submit completed applications to Jakoah Brgoch, GPSS Office in the West Student Office Space.
- Applicant has not submitted a Peer Research award application within the last year
- Applicant must have at least one first-authored paper and oral presentation completed at time of application submission
- In 300 words or less, please describe 2-3 major accomplishments in your area of research
- Please attach curriculum vitae and two letters of support from fellow graduate students
- Graduate students providing letters of support do not have to be from the same department or laboratory
- Applicant can apply for both the Peer Teaching and Peer Research awards within the same semester or year
- Applicant can self-nominate for the award

- Applicant can apply for both the Peer Teaching and Peer Research awards within the same semester or year
