Iowa State University's wide variety of on-campus housing options are all designed for convenience, comfort, and affordability. There are also numerous off-campus housing opportunities. The Department of Residence will send you complete housing information after you are admitted.

Living Expenses

In addition to housing, living expenses include food/meals, health insurance and medical expenses, local transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses such as clothing, laundry, and entertainment expenses. Estimates for living expenses are listed here
