When you need a break from academics, Iowa State offers plenty of choices for recreation. The ISU Recreation Services provide fitness programs, outdoor recreation, intramural sports, sports clubs, and state-of-the art recreation facilities.

Other entertainment opportunities abound in the Ames area. If you are accustomed to theater and the arts, big-name entertainers, symphonies, museums, ballet and rock concerts, then you will feel right at home at Iowa State.
