Graduate College Student OrientationThe Graduate College hosts a new student orientation each year the Friday before classes start in August. The next planned orientation is August 22, 2008. More details will appear on this page mid-June 2008.
Below are some pictures and information from the Graduate College Orientation in 2007: The 2007 Graduate College New Graduate Student Orientation was a huge success this year. Almost 400 students toured the offices of 1137 Pearson, as well as met with representatives from Access Plus, Accounts Receivable, Academic Success Center/Student Disability Resources, Child Care Services, GPSS, International Office, Iowa State Center, ISU Dining and Deparment of Residence, IT Services, Margaret Sloss Women's Center, Parks Library, Student Health Services, Student Insurance, Student Legal Services, and TechCyte. Students signed up for prizes donated by the Graduate College as well as: A&R Marketing (Dogtown), The Chickering Group, City of Ames Parks and Recreation, Delta Dental, Iowa State Center, ISU Athletic Department, ISU Dining, Memorial Union Marketing, North Grand Mall, Printing Services, Reiman Gardens, Student Support Services, TechCyte, and YWCA of Ames.
