  • All students will establish a Program of Study Committee and, in consultation with these faculty, will develop a Program of Study (POS) and research project.
  • All students will complete a thesis (for the MS) or dissertation (for the PhD), present a public defense of their research that demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge in their field, and publish the results of their research (usually in peer-reviewed journals).
